What happens if my pet is 'put to sleep' at the vet’s?

You can request our services from your veterinary practice or you can call us to collect your pet from your veterinary practice if you can’t face the loss of your pet. You can also bring your pet straight to us yourself if you feel you do not want to leave your pet alone. We will try to accommodate you no matter what time it is and can arrange for your pets ashes to be returned to you normally the next day or at least within 48 hours depending on how busy we are.

You can spend as long as you need to say goodbye in private in our modern Farewell Room until you have peace of mind and feel comfortable for the cremation to take place.

Caskets, Urns and other memorabilia

All our prices are reasonable, affordable, include VAT and are determined by the size of your pet. We have no hidden costs and we have tried to make it as simple as possible to choose an option that suits your budget.

The basic price for our cremation services includes placing the ashes of your pet into a standard Scattertube, this gives you the opportunity to think about what other kind of memorabilia you may prefer and wish to purchase separately at a later date in your own time.

We charge £15 for collection and delivery in our local area and calculate a mileage fee based on the distance from you or your veterinary surgery. These charges will be determined when discussing your requirements, and then added to the standard price of the cremation you choose.

Engraving options are also available and are an additional minimal cost to consider.

The price banding on the table attached enables you to calculate which category your pet may fall in and how much extra each type of memorabilia will cost in conjunction with the size of your pet. We will confirm the actual price of cremation with you on receipt of your pet to our Crematorium or when you contact us and before cremation takes place to avoid any misunderstandings.
